Main ingredient: hanging melon. -

Peel the hanging melon, wash and cut into pieces. -

Heat oil, sauté chopped green onion, add sliced melon and stir-fry. -

Add appropriate amount of light soy sauce and stir-fry evenly. -

Add water until half of the watermelon is covered. -

Reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes. -

Add salt and sugar to taste. -

After cooking for about 6 minutes, until the hanging melon is soft and rotten and the juice has been absorbed, turn off the heat. -

Tips
1. The soup should not be too much. It is better to cook until the soup disappears. 2. Using light soy sauce is mainly to enhance the flavor, but also to add a little color. 3. I didn’t have light soy sauce, so I used dark soy sauce instead, and it tasted pretty good.
